The Team Today

The mounted display consists of up to thirteen men and horses – an officer, trumpeter and 2 or 3 sections of lancers - a spectacle in its own right, but audiences are also treated to skill-at-arms displays with service pattern lances, swords, carbines and revolvers.

The most dramatic of these being the use of the service lance in tent-pegging contests with two or four riders competing simultaneously.
